This is the best crack Wheat Bread Recipe I had always used. I cut the All Purpose Flour down to a spot over 3 cups for that soft texture and great crumb … The 4 cups is good but a bite more dense. And besides I like to toss in a couple Tablespoons of Flax Seed to kick it up a piece. helpful ( 35 )

This is an fabulously lighter tasteful boodle. I let it rise for about a full hour and a one-half the second base time and the boodle tripled … making it evening more aeriform ! Since my family has been on this health bang recently I added 1 cup more hale wheat flour rather of the white flour. nowadays they can eat it AND say it is healthy ! : ) helpful ( 15 )

I have searched for a capital wheat boodle recipe for years- I ‘ve ultimately found it ! incredible texture and the flavor ( with a little excess molasses on my separate ! ) is heavnly. My syndicate loves it and so do I. THanks for sharing it ! helpful ( 11 )

With a soft texture and a firm yet giving crust this Cracked Wheat bread recipe indisputable pleased our smack bud. This was the first recipe we used with alligatored wheat and it was delightful. Because of past experiences with pale yellow flour we feared this boodle would be dense but it was far from it with a touch of sweet. Like another reviewer we found the bread needed to rise longer than specified ( ours took over an 1 hour on the beginning ascend and an 1 1/2 hour on the moment rise ). But do n’t let this stop you from using this recipe this will be our go-to wheat bread from now on. Thanks for the recipe. helpful ( 10 )

I used all wholly wheat flour. The loaves tasted fair slenderly dessert. Having to cook the crack wheat wo n’t slow you down besides much. helpful ( 9 )

Great bread Nancy. Wonderful dense texture but with a idle and downy crumb. Nutty relish and best of all reasonably healthy. I sub ‘d canola petroleum for margarine. Thanks for sharing. helpful ( 8 )

excellent recipe. I increased the sum of wheaten flour ( reducing the white flour proportionately but distillery retaining some ). Great spirit great “ crumb. ” Makes fantastic goner ! helpful ( 6 )
