I grew up eating garlic bread every weekend with the barbecued dinners my dad made for the family. Rich, butter soaked french seam with garlic seasoning on top, baked to perfection. Mmmmmm. So since I am participating in # RecipeMakeover this week, I was inspired to makeover some of my favored kin foods to give them a healthier tailspin ! hush precisely as delectable, but with a few less calories ! so this recipe is the first of four I am sharing with you this week. By Friday you will have all the healthy recipes needed for a healthy, at-home steakhouse dinner !

And it was ! You can use your favored type of bakery boodle. obviously a whole wheat or multi-grain bread would be healthier, but I found these smaller bum of bread that were perfect for part control ( and were James and Ethan approved ) .
The coconut oil melts easily in the microwave and TOTALLY does not smell or taste like coconut. James was like, “ Wow. That ’ s crazy…you can ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate tell the coconut petroleum even came from a coconut. ” So brush the oil on each english of bread, and then smear on the garlic paste ! Sprinkle on some italian season for evening more spirit .

Baked Garlic Bread Made Healthier

Ingredients
- 1 loiter wheaten french bread, newly from the memory bakery ( or your darling diverseness of bread )
- 1-2 tablespoons Barlean ‘s Butter Flavored Organic Coconut Oil ( or butter or olive anoint )
- 2-3 teaspoons garlic paste
- italian temper, to taste ( optional )

Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and set digression .

You need to pay care to your bread as it bakes, because the broil times will vary. We have all walked away and have burned bread before…yeah I have been guilty of that a time or two. Bake the boodle until you reach your desire brittleness.
